May Is Mental Health Month — But This Is a Daily Devotion to Your Whole Self

Let’s get deeply honest for a moment, woman to woman…

You’ve conquered multiple obstacles, nurtured families, held space for others, and kept on rising—even when life felt like quicksand beneath your well-polished heels. But despite all your accomplishments… something still feels off. A little out of sync. Like you’re chasing life on autopilot. Disconnected. Feigning interest. Day after predictable day…

I see you.

And more importantly, I feel you.

As a Gestalt practitioner working with the mind-body-spirit whole, and as someone who has honestly walked through fire to find the light, I’ve learned this unshakable truth:

Your health—your vitality, your joy, your wholeness—begins with alignment.
Not just in the mind. Not just in the body. Not just spiritually.

But in the trinity of all three.

May is “Mental Health Month” but I am posting today to remind you that Mental Health Month is meant to bring awareness of our well-being and is not a rigid checklist. It’s a living, breathing state of being—one with your whole self, that whispers to you when you’re tired, when you’re craving joy, when you’re disconnected from your own soul.

And if you’re like most of the extraordinary women I serve, you’ve learned how to keep going. But you may have forgotten how to be still. How to hear your body’s wisdom. How to truly nourish your spirit beyond green juice and bubble baths.

So let this be your gentle, yet unflinching reminder:
You are on the right path when your energy is aligned—mind-body-spirit whole.
You are thriving when you are listening—truly listening—to the cues of your physical body, your emotions, your spirit.

🌀 When your body says rest, you honor it.
🌀 When your soul calls for movement, you dance.
🌀 When your emotions rise, you allow space to feel without judgment.
🌀 When you feel disconnected, you return—to breath, to ritual, to your inner sanctuary.

You are not meant to hustle through your healing nor to bypass your inner knowing.
You are meant to nourish yourself with truth, intention, pleasure, and profound self-respect.

Light the candles.
Take the sacred pause.
Dance in your kitchen—Hell, dance everywhere!
Cry when it wells up.
Say NO without guilt.
Say YES to your deepest needs.

Because this is your life—and you, divine woman, are the creator of it.

So here’s your call to action—not just for May, but for every single day moving forward:
Do one thing daily that aligns your energy.

Let it be small. Let it be sacred. Let it be yours.

Your alignment is your medicine. Your presence is your power. And your wholeness? That’s your birthright.
