Harriet Tubman – The Conductor of Freedom

Born: March 1822 (exact date unknown)
Died: March 10, 1913

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” — Harriet Tubman

Born into slavery, Harriet Tubman didn’t just escape—she went back, time and time again, to free others. As a conductor on the Underground Railroad, she led over 70 enslaved people to freedom, risking her own life for the sake of others. Later, she served as a spy for the Union Army and advocated for women’s rights.

Why She Inspires Us Today
Harriet Tubman is proof that courage knows no limits. She reminds us that fear is no match for purpose, and when we dare to step into our power, we create pathways for others to follow.

Consider one thing you can do that requires courage. Now do it.
